We have been going here for sometime now and over the last few weeks we have our Sunday lunch there as well. Fantastic food with brilliant service.
Had the Christmas menu, not for the faint hearted, very filling portions, not everybody could manage to finish it in our party, hot and well cooked. Excellent, polite service, recommended if you like a good quality meal in the pub.
Rather nice pub to stumble upon. A wide range of beers and lagers. House wine 7 and offers on a range of drinks. Does serve food but I didn't eat on my visit, friends who have said it is "perfectly acceptable."Very friendly staff who are polite, happy to hold a conversation and provide a smile. It was quite on my visit but I see no reason they wouldn't be just as accommodating when busier. Special events brings out the BBQ and bottle bar in the huge beer garden. Lots of setting inside and out. Pool table and plenty of screens for the sport. Nice clean place with well serviced bathrooms.
